Gloria Z. Martinez passed away on July 16 2016. She was born on December 11, 1951 to Seledonio S. Martinez and Petra Z. Martinez. She attended Fox Tech High School in San Antonio, TX. Joined the United States Marine Corp in 1971 and served until 1976 when she was honorably discharged. She returned to San Antonio for a brief period then moved to Dallas TX., where she worked for the Dallas Police Department for 30 years and from where she recently retired.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Martinez, daughter in law Maria and grandchildren Bella and John, daughter, Melissa Martinez, sisters Rosalinda Robledo and Betty Alvarez, brother, Robert Martinez. She is preceded in death by her father, Seledonio S. Martinez, mother, Petra Z. Martinez and brother, Seledonio Z. Martinez Jr.
