Gloria married John D. Ivey on December 21, 1946. She was a member of Baylor Auxiliary and a lifelong member of Casa View Baptist Church. Gloria helped start White Rock Baptist Church where she was a charter member. In 1956, she helped start Ivey Lumber. Gloria was the first female bonds woman in Dallas.
She is survived by children, Kevin & Charlotte Ivey; grandchildren, Hannah & Vince Corroo, Amanda & Cody Barker, Kathryn & Dakota Krueger, and Jonathan Ivey; sister, Betty Jean Weeks; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husband, John D. Ivey; daughter, Kayla Ivey Morale; and siblings, Earlean, Steve, and Jerry.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 pm on March 31, 2023 at Casa View Baptist Church.
