Johnson, Gladys Simpson Better known as "Bobo", was born to John and Pearl Turrentine on September 27, 1923 and passed on July 31, 2011. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Johnson; grandson, Dustin Johnson; husband, Hayden Johnson and husband, Jack Simpson. She is survived by her daughter Suzy Gra-ham and husband Steve; daughter Carolyn Trego and husband Ron; son Gary Johnson; daughter Cindy Nelson and husband Tom; daughter Rebecca Avery; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She has resided at the Emeritus of Lake Highlands for the past two years where she received the most loving care. Bobo's life was devoted to her children and family. She will always be remembered as the "Skip Bo Queen". Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 on Wednesday, Aug-ust 3 at Grove Hill. Visitation 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 2, 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association .
