Gladys Sanchez, age 86, passed away on, September 17, 2021 in Plano, Texas. She was born on May 12, 1935 in Los Santos, Panama. She married Cesar de Leon Saez, and they had a daughter, Briseida de Leon Saez Northrup.
Gladys was a homemaker and shop keeper in Panama. After divorcing Cesar, she joined her daughter in the United States and later married Alberto Sanchez. While living in the states, Gladys worked at a school cafeteria and also worked at home maker. Gladys loved to garden, to cook wonderful meals, and most importantly to teach others about God. She worked as a volunteer for many years at San Juan Diego
church. She also led biweekly prayer meetings at her house. We will always remember as that smiling, loving, kind woman who gave what she had to others willingly and freely.
She is preceded in death by her husband (Alberto Sanchez), daughter (Briseida deLeon Northrup), and her
parents. She is survived by her grandson (Jason Northrup married to Kirsten), granddaughter (Deliahna Spencer married to Rick Spencer) and her great grandchildren (Madalyn and Liam Northrup; Adelay, Kinsley, and Preston Spencer).
