Mr. Dunlap is preceded in death by his parents, George and Meredith Dunlap, his sister, Diane F. (Tam) Dunlap and his beloved wife, Virginia Curley Dunlap.
He is survived by his children, Karen Effinger of Oklahoma City, Janet Patterson (Tim) of Farmers Branch, Joan Wilk (Rick) of Dallas and son Patrick Dunlap (Mary Jo Jones) of Keller, and his grandchildren, Sarah Effinger, Sherman Effinger, Matthew Patterson, Jake Patterson, Bret Wilk (Julie), Rachel Wilk, Rebecca Wilk, Kathryn Wilk, Kelsey Dunlap, Dylan Dunlap and 2 great-grandchildren, Lily Wilk and Levi Wilk. He is also survived by his bothers, Larry Dunlap (Linda), Dennis Dunlap (Judi), Bill Dunlap and sister Mary Cannizzaro (Joe) and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dunlap served honorably in the United States Army at Fort Bliss from 1957 to 1959.
George retired from General Motors in 1991 after a long and successful career. He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating and traveling and his greatest joy was his family and his large extended family.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2:00pm, for family only due to COVID-19 restrictions. It will also be available via livestream on the Facebook page for Calvary Hill https://www.facebook.com/171198212907437
A celebration of Life for George will be held at a later date to be determined.
