George was born on April 13, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana, a son of his father: Woodrow Wilson Cole and his mother: Pamela Braud.
George married Rose Guzman on March 25, 2000 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife: Rose Cole of Plano, Texas.
George is also survived by his son: Brandon Cole of Willis, Texas,
his daughter: Christine Cole of Smiths Station, Alabama,
his sister: Mary Fugate of Rockwall, Texas
his sister: Stella Ely of Friendswood, Texas
his brother: Woodrow Cole, Jr. (Woody) of Tyler, Texas,
and his brother: Paul Cole of Friendswood, Texas
George graduated from Tyler Junior College in 1964 with an Associate’s Degree in Drafting. He spent his career working for several engineering firms as an electrical designer and retired from Fluor Daniel in Sugar Land, Texas in 1998.
George was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano and Kingdom Builders Bible Fellowship Group.
In this world, George had many titles: Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Friend.
Now that he rests in the arms of Our Heavenly Father, he will have only one title: Child of God.
George will forever be remembered for his easy-going nature, love of country life and his passion for football. He had a big heart and a generous spirit that moved him to always give whatever he had to others in their time of need.
He leaves us with lots of humorous stories that bring a smile to our faces and countless treasured memories for us to cherish. His loved ones can rejoice in the knowledge that he is at peace with Jesus, basking in His Glory and savoring his long-awaited reward in Heaven. Praise the Lord!
