Fred Walker Hancock Jr. was born on December 7, 1929, to parents Fred Sr. and Mildred Walker. He passed away on November 25, 2014 in Dallas, TX. Fred attended Forest Avenue High School and graduated in 1947. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and country western dancing. Fred was a very loving, kind man with a gentle soul. He had a very strong faith in God, which he showed by serving as a Deacon and 4th grade Sunday school teacher at the Colonial Baptist Church. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Maurine; son Sammy D. Hancock and wife Linda; daughter Vicky Schweitzer and husband Dieter; grandchildren Lisa Perdue, Adam Hancock, Zurik Phillips, Susanne Schweitzer; 5 great grandchildren; brother Leonard Hancock; sister Anita Conrad; step-sister Paula, and many other relatives and friends.
