Frank served in the U.S. Navy for twenty years and also the Navy Reserve for 10 years. He was proud to have served his country in WWII and the Korean War. He was also stationed in Hawaii and lived near Pearl Harbor. During his time in the military, Frank was afforded the opportunity to travel all over the world with his family by his side. They traveled to many state parks suck as Yosemite and Death Valley. He loved camping and he was a Cub scout Master and Webelo Master. Frank also enjoyed talking with fellow servicemen about his military career. His favorite team was the St. Louis Cardinals.
Frank was a part of many organizations such as the VFW of Garland, DAV American Veteran, American Legion and the National Foresters. He also volunteered for the VA hospital, City of Dallas, and the State Fair of Texas where he worked at the Egyptian exhibit.
Frank is survived by his wife of 35 years, Virginia Pearson; children Frank Pearson Jr. and wife Rebecca, Charlene Ellison, Ruby Pearl Hardin; step-children David Cooper and wife Christy, Shirley Malik and husband Falik, Brian Cooper and wife Gisela; grandchildren Matthew Swearingen, Mark Swearingen, John McLaren, Thomas Ellison, Sara Moore, Lilli Webb, David Rogers, Clay Rogers, Jamie Hardin, Travis Hardin, and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas Pearson. He will be truly missed by those who loved him the most.
Graveside service were held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
