Frank and his beautiful wife Caroline were wonderful friends from our days living next door to one another in Asheville, NC. Frank was always the proverbial gentleman and obviously had great love for his generous wife Caroline.  They were wonderful neighbors, ultimately becoming cherished friends.  We loved them both and will miss Frank now, as we have missed Caroline in the past several years since her death..

I'm sorry for your Dad's passing.

He sure was a fine Uncle.

I always felt that he was truly interested in what I was up to. More than that, I felt that he even liked my company. I have a suspicion that many people felt that way around him. I knew that he was a highly skilled, accomplished and respected man. He had dealt with all sorts of people all over the world; yet, he always had time to take his scruffy nephew out for a meal, share life experiences and laugh.

When I was a boy Grandpa and Grandma told me a story about my Uncle Bud. There was a brilliant spring day when Bud was a young boy. He was flying a kite—it was far up in the blue sky. He told his mother that he thought God was up there with his kite. 

Well, Uncle Bud you're no longer connected by just the tug on a kite string; He's pulled you up.

Thanks for caring for your nephew. I miss you.

Dear Karyn and Bill,
We never met you, but feel we know you through conversations with your Mom and Dad.
Frank and Caroline were dear friends and neighbors in Beaverdam Run for many years,
and we miss them terribly. 
Being from Chicago, we will never forget how he used to chid us about our Al Capone(Mafia)
relatives.  We shared a special bond with Caroline and our love for our Jaguars, since we
both drove them and had “heavy foots” on the gas pedals.
Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Just his presence made  a very huge impact.

Karyn, I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was a very successful man and raised a wonderful daughter!   Prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. 

My Uncle Bud (Frank LePage) was always smiling. We happily looked forward to Uncle Bud’s visits. This very handsome tall man with a huge grin and booming clear voice told us delightful stories from his extensive world travels. I remember Uncle Bud and Uncle Bob giving their sister Fran (my mother) golf lessons in the back yard. “Remember to stop at the top of your swing Ditter.”  The nickname Ditter stuck with her because they could not pronounce “Sister” as young kids. He is genuinely loved as evident by the number of relatives who traveled from all over to attend his 90th birthday in Dallas. Thanks for all the beautiful memories, Uncle Bud.

Dear Karyn, Bill, Jennie and Paul,
It is sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Bud.  In my eyes, he was the perfect uncle and a wonderful human being.  He was cheerful and devoted to family.  Kind and funny.  He liked to remind me that he changed my diaper when I was a baby.  I especially love him for calling my mother on her birthday every year, keeping in touch and having long talks with her.  He was strong, yet gentle, a great role model for all of us.  I know he had aches and pains but he handled them with grace and now he is at peace.   You have to be very proud of the way you all cared for him after Caroline passed away.  I'm sure it was a great comfort to him that you lived so close, and made sure he was comfortable and entertained.
