Frank Wallace Carroll, Jr. peacefully departed this life on April 20, 2017 at his home in Dallas, Texas after a long battle with cancer. He was born January 14, 1939 to Frank Wallace Carroll, Sr. and Daisy Wyatt Carroll in Richmond, Virginia. He was the oldest of three children. He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Terrance Carroll. Frank was educated in the Chesterfield County Virginia Schools and graduated from Carver High School, Chester, Virginia. He attended Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia and then joined the USAF retiring as Chief Master Sgt. While residing in Denver, Colorado for many years, he received a Master of Arts in Gerontology and Long Term Care Management and spent the remainder of his career in private business. Frank had a passion for learning and continued to study. He also enjoyed his favorite pastime of playing golf. Frank is survived by his daughter, Pamela D. Carroll; son, Frank Wallace Carroll III (Tamala); brother, Rev. Dr. Linwood W. Car-roll, Sr. (Brenda); sister, Sandra R. Garner (Charles); grand-children, Miles Davis; Quinton and Raven Carroll; great-grandson, Terrance Carroll, Jr.; step-son, Norman Tarleton; step-daughter, Lynn Green; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
