Francisco Galvan Garcia Jr. (Frank), passed away on November 26, 2021 at the age of 80. Francisco was born in Dallas, Texas on October 10, 1941. He was the son of Francisco G. and Delfina Galvan Garcia. As a teenager, Francisco enlisted into the United States Army and served 3 honorable years, achieving an award for expert rifleman.
Francisco lived most of his life in Dallas, Texas, although for a short time, he lived in Chicago, Illinois. He married twice and had 10 children. As an adult, he worked as a tool and die marker and cab driver, enjoyed working on vehicles, spending time with his grandchildren and entertained himself at the casinos.
Francisco is proceeded in death by: his parents, Francisco G. and Delfina Galvan Garcia; brothers, Emilio Garcia, Celso (Jesse) Garcia and Abraham Garcia; sisters, Marcolfa Fatzinger, Elvira Salinas, Esther Herrera and Rosa Villanueva; children, Francisco Garcia I, Violanda Garcia, Francisco Garcia II and Rosalinda Marie Garcia.
He is survived by: sisters, Marianita Gonzales and Aurora Franco, wife, Maria Lara Garcia; children, Michele Reyes (Rene), Maria Rina Garcia, Francisco Damian Garcia, Cristobal Garcia (Grace), Lisa Garcia, Alida Garcia and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
