Francis Kane, (91), passed away on January 28, 2016 in Dallas, TX. He was the husband of Marjorie Kane. They shared fifty-seven years of marriage together. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Francis was the son of Mike and Loretta Kane. He attended Christian Brothers College High School and St. Louis University. Francis served in the Army Air Corps, was a WWII Veteran and member of the American Legion. Mr. Kane is survived by daughter, Karen Smith (husband, Forrest Smith) and by his son, Michael Kane (wife, Whitney Kane). He is also survived by grandchildren, Kendell Dean (husband, Devin Dean), Colton Henderson and Kaylee Henderson, great-grandchildren, Ryland Henderson and Liam Dean, sister-in-law, Annie Cooke, brother-in-law, Don Lasater, and many nieces and nephews. Francis was preceded in death by his wife and his parents. A graveside service will be held February 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org or Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, MO.
