Evelyn Cortes

Evelyn immigrated to the US in 1962, along with the rest of the family, residing in Dallas Texas for 58 years. In 1965, Evelyn’s soon to be husband, Daniel Armando Cortes, immigrated to the US, and they were married on July 26, 1967. Armando & Evelyn were inseparable until her death on August 13, 2020.

Evelyn was reunited with her beloved parents, Elsa Elena her older sister, and her younger brother Jim on August 13th, 2020. Evelyn is survived by her husband Armando, sons David & Jonathan, grand-daughter Jaida, daughter-in-law Angela, sister Lillian and her family, and brothers John & Sam and families.

Evelyn was a kind, compassionate, caring, and loving wife, mother, sister, and human being.

She seemed to always have a smile with her, and for everyone.

She is, and will always be, greatly missed. However, she will always remain in our hearts, and in our memories.

We rejoice in our faith that she is in Glory, and that we will join Evelyn again soon!
