Eve Tovar Pasternak

Eve was born in Dallas, Texas on July 8,1929 to Luis and Rosa Tovar. Eve attended Saint Ann’s Catholic Parochial School. She relocated to Los Angeles, California in 1950. Eve was married to Henry Edward Pasternak on June 19,1976; they were married 26 years, until Ed’s death.

Eve a devoted wife and mother was a classy and elegant lady. She will be remembered for her strength and generosity. Eve enjoyed traveling abroad to Europe and Israel. She lived in Diamond Bar, California for 42 years and was actively involved with St. Denis Catholic Church organizations, including The Council of Catholic Women, Italian Catholic Federation and being a Eucharistic Minister. She organized many fundraisers, including annual Thanksgiving and Christmas charitable events and was involved with the Adopt-A-Family Program. Her life of 93 years was filled with family, friends and church.

Eve is preceded in death by husband Henry Edward Pasternak, son Mario Rollice, parents Luis and Rosa Tovar, sisters Vivian Montero, Mary Louise Tovar and brother Tony Tovar.

Eve is survived by sons Augustine Rollice wife Martha, Robert Rollice and Chris Marcione wife Nina. Daughter Rebecca Carmona husband Henry, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. Brothers Joe, Louis, Richard, Thomas, David, and Arthur Tovar. Sisters Mary Helen DiLiberto and Sr.Consuelo Tovar, sister-in-law and close friend Dominga Tovar, 23 nieces and nephews, and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Eve will be held June 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will celebrated June 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Main Mausoleum North Chapel with Fr. Josef Vollmer-König officiating. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
