Eugene Ray Paul was born to a farming family in the community of Buena Vista, Texas west of Waxahachie, he grew up during the Great Depression and was drafted into the U S Army, where he joined the Army Air Corps and trained to be an aviator. After the war ended and he was discharged, he went to college in Arlington Texas, then worked at the Fort Worth power plant, then eventually built his career as a Customer Engineer for IBM, where he retired in 1987. In the years since, he built even more friendships, and affected people's lives for the better. Always humble and modest, he never would believe he could have such a huge effect for the good.He is survived by his daughter Rachel Paul and grandson Gregory Kane Williams, his son James Paul and daughter in law Jatuporn Kruabudda, he is also survived by his nieces Nancy Post and Linda Brandt, and his nephew David Paul.
He may physically be gone, but his effect will continue.
