Eulogy for Ethylene Ruth “Snooky” Eckert Sanders Born February 13, 1923 in Clifton Texas to Oscar and Ethel Ott Eckert. Devoted wife to Tom Douglas Sanders since March 23, 1946 until his death on January 13, 1981. She lived in Dallas Texas the remainder of her life primarily in Oak Cliff. Loving Mother to Sandra Kay Sanders Rawlings and Rebecca Ann Sanders Adams. Survived by her daughters, son Johnny Adams, grandchildren, Jan Rawlings McCune, her husband Lee, Thomas Kyle Rawlings, his wife Nicole, Angela Adams Whitehead, her husband Ted, Holly Adams Dimsdle, great-grandchildren, Courtney Kay Rawlings, Catlin Leigh McCune, Easton Kyle McCune, Tanner Michael Whitehead, Andrew Douglas Ramirez, Nicholas Alexander Dimsdle. She was christened in the Reform Church of America in Clifton Texas and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Duncanville, Texas.after moving to Dallas. Snooky had a career outside the home in banking and retired from the Dallas Independent School District in 19 . Our Mother is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins. May She Rest in Peace in the Loving Arms of our Father in Heaven and we are comforted that she is now with our Daddy, her son Bob Rawlings, her Mother, Daddy and brothers and uncles and aunts
