Esther Ellen Moffitt, daughter of Harry Lee Keller and Minnie Mae Goode, born in Denver, Colorado on April 20,1924. Preceded in death by husband, Harold Moffit, and all siblings. She is survived by her longtime best friend and companion Bill Branson, nieces and nephews,
Esther was exceptional in her time, earning her PhD and working at the Hanover Nuclear Facility. Later she found her true love, teaching kids. She was a teacher in the Dallas, Texas school system for 30 years, teaching mostly first grade. She was also a Member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Esther loved to tell stories about the things the kids in her classes did and said as well as stories about their parents during her years of teaching. At open houses, Esther used to tell the parents that she would believe half of what the kids told her about them if they would believe half of what the kids told them about her.
