Ernest Lujan Cerda passed to God’s Heavenly Kingdom peacefully on January 16, in the presences of his loving wife of 71 years Ofelia B. Cerda, sons Ernest Jr. and Arthur, grandson and family Donovan, Mariza, Ondraus, Jacob Olivares. Ernest service in the Asiatic Pacific campaign of World War II. He was a member of Casa Emaun-El United Methodist Church and Choir. He is preceded in death by his parents Cesaria Lujan, Louis Cerda and brother Louis G. Cerda. Visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 on Wednesday January 20, at Sparkman\Hillcrest. On Thursday, January 21, at 11am a grave side service will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park where military honors will be rendered.
