He was a devoted hardworking husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family and watching “Archie Bunker” relaxing on his Laz-E-Boy. On Sundays he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. E.C. worked as a service technician for Texas ICE and later retired then continued to work at First Baptist Church of Richardson
E.C. is preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo and Jacoba Pena and siblings Emiliana Martinez, Frances Pena, Emma Rios, Camila Pena, Susana Pena. Cande Ramirez, Galdino Pena, Cipriano Pena, and Salvador Pena.
E.C. is survived by wife Fhilomena Pena, Daughter Senaida Acosta and husband Cesar of Mesquite, son Edward Pena and wife Monica of Dallas. Grandchildren Cesar Daniel, Robert, Raquel and Judith Acosta, Victoria, Meadow, and Mia Pena.
Pall bearers: Cesar Daniel, Robert Acosta, Galdino Rios and Patrick Garza.
He will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten. “See you soon Grandpa”
