Tilford, Elizabeth Jane (Janie) Born January 5, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma, passed away August 4, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. Janie is preceded in death by parents, James L. and Bobbie June Roberts. Survivors include: husband, Preston Pearson; sons, Greg and wife Laurie Pearson, Matt and wife Theresa Pearson; grandchildren, Zoe, Julius, Ivy and Peyton Pearson; brother, James Roberts and wife Donna Mularchek; niece, Angie Garner; nephew, James Brian Roberts; great-nephew, Justin Garner; step-mother, Chrystelle Roberts; step-sister, Nancy and husband Randall Conner; numerous other family and friends. Janie began her career in entertainment and PR promotions. In 1979, she along-side Preston was a founding partner in Pro-Style Associates a sports marketing and promotion company. While she was an avid sports fan, her love for her Dallas Cowboys far outshined her interest in any other sports team. Janie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2011, Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel.
