Elizabeth Keith Foree Lee, born on July 1, 1934, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Descendent of two pioneer Dallas families, the Fishers and the Forees, Elizabeth passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2010. She was the daughter of Robert L. Foree and Della Keith Foree. She is survived by her husband, Harold D. Lee, one brother, Bob Foree, and two sisters, Barbara Foree Wallace and Nancy Foree.She is also survived by children Ann Elise Bennett (husband Bobby); Rob Flickinger; Carol Haskin (husband Craig), Wynne Meisenbach (husband Pearce); Stepsons Bobby D. Lee, Lubbock and Donald W. Lee, San Antonio ; eleven grandchildren–Lauren and Sarah Hopkins; Melody, Hart, Victoria and Olivia Haskin; Betsy, Cooper and Whit Flickinger; Eliza and Hawk Meisenbach; three step grandchildren–Damion (wife Michelle), Bryan and Stacy Lee; three step great-grandchildren–Ashlyn, Maddie Lee and Jarrett Rasure and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth graduated from Highland Park High School, attended Baylor University for two years and got her B.S. in Education from SMU, after which she taught school in the D.I.S.D. for several years. Later she taught violin at SMU, Greenhill, and Lake Highlands area schools, serving as orchestra director. Elizabeth was very active in her community, Park Cities Baptist Church, and a legion of organizations. She served on the Board of Governors for the Dallas Women’s Club, President of the Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, as well as the Dallas Glass Club, the Shakespeare Study Club, Lakeside Browning Club and Regent for her DAR chapter. She was also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Dallas Dinner Dance Club, Huguenot Society, Craig Class, Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Sparkman Hillcrest. Private Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, August 9, 2010, in the Park Cities Baptist Church Sanctuary.
