Elizabeth Fort

Mrs. Elizabeth "Bety" Fort, age 44 of Little Elm, Texas passed away on Monday July 17, 2023 surrounded by her adoring family. Elizabeth was born to the loving parents of Rafael Alferez-Chavez and Yolanda Vazquez-Rodriguez in the city of Monterrey, Mexico. She entered the world as the youngest of three children. Even as a child she was very dedicated to providing a loving caring environment to all of her friends and family. Always full of independence and fearlessness. She was encouraged to grandfather Trinidad to explore the world and live her dreams. Her international debut was a surprise visit to the United States to visit him in 2003.

Elizabeth joined her sister and brother-in-law in Texas in 2011. Soon after she met her future husband Korey Fort on November 23rd, 2011. The two were married on July 23rd, 2015. She built a home and filled it with so much love and joy that it was bursting at the seams. Always the life of the party. Elizabeth opened her home to all family and friends to enjoy time with her there. She enjoyed cooking, singing, laughing, designing and planning adventurous trips.

Elizabeth loved everyone unconditionally. She would give you love and support whether or not you knew you needed it. An absolute angel in the flesh leaves behind a husband, Korey Fort; Mother and Father Rafael Alferez-Chavez and Yolanda Vazquez-Rodriguez; siblings (Rafael, Patricia), sisters-in-law (Irma, Kimberly), brother-in-laws(Sergio, Larry), nieces(Evelyn, Jordan, Jaden), nephews(Rafael “Faylito”, Nicolas, Max, Nick, David, Kristopher).
