Edwin Lewis Kovar was born in Ennis, Texas on April 13, 1925 the 11th child of Tomas and Frances Kovar. He married Mildred Lanham Kover in 1947 who preceded him in death. He is survived by daughters, Sharon Hamrick of San Antonio, Texas and Janet Erfani of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Clifford Hamrick of Austin, Texas; two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie worked 38 years for Auto Convoy of Dallas, he was a WWII Veteran and a lifetime member of SPJST Lodge 130 of Dallas. Visitation will be at Grove Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Graveside services at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
