Edward was born May 17,1944 to Pressie and Laura Rose in Dallas Texas; he was the 8th of 11 children. Edward confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, and became a member of St Luke Baptist Church, and later years would join Prestonwood Baptist Church where he served a deacon. In 1995 He Theresa Rose, who he cherished.
Edward worked in the Printing industry for over 40 years. He was loved and cherished by many and will be missed. He was a faithful husband with a positive and generous spirit, He did not mind helping others.
Edward loved working in his yard and fixing things. He had a passion for the Texas Rangers Baseball where he was a season ticket holder and part of the Rangers Baseball Club. He also was a fan of the Dallas.
Cowboys, and loved attending games with his sister Shirley.
Before his work career, Edward had the privilege of playing in the old Negro Baseball League for a short time. He wrote a short paper back titled, "In My Spare Time". He also enjoyed, collecting Baseball Cards, Comic Books, and Authentic Stamps.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 28 years Theresa Rose, Sister Shirley Connors (Julious), Vernon Rose (Sharon), Brother-In-laws Joe Turner, and Thomas Morgan, of Dallas
Sister-in-laws Carolyn Morgan, of Plano and Barbara Jackson (Nate), North Carolina. A host of Nieces and Nephews, and a longtime friend Roger Arwine.
Edward was preceded in death by his Parents, Pressie & Laura Rose, Sisters, Doris Williams, Evelyn Rose, Clara Paterson, Jeweline Turner, Brothers Rufus, Albert, Melvin, and Kenneth
