Edward B. Ratliff, age 88 of Dallas, passed away on October 23, 2015. He was born on September 14, 1927 in Corpus Christi, the son of Walton and Loraine Ratliff. Edward married Wanda Parsons and she survives.
Edward worked for 45 years as a phone repairman and technician for Southwestern Bell. He and his wife, who was an operator, were lucky to have met and share their lives together. Together, Wanda and Edward raised their two children Charles and Ronald and raised them to always do their best.
In addition to his wife and children, Edward leaves behind his sister-in-law Lou Ray Rhea and her husband Thomas; his nieces and nephews Nancy, Matthew, Joe and Julie Rhea. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joy Elaine Christian and brother Sonny Ratliff.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas.
