Edward "Ed" H. McCauley, age 80 of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on September 4, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Edward was born March 21, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky. He and his wife Mary Ann enjoyed 59 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Theresa Francis and husband Mike of Flower Mound; son, Jeffery and wife Mary of Celina; son Stephen of Dallas; son, Michael of Dallas; and daughter, Christine Bolding and husband Brent of Dallas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kyle Francis and wife Jenny, Rebecca McCauley, Cameron McCauley, Carson Bolding, Spencer Bolding and Grayson Bolding. Ed was a graduate of the Univeristy of Illinois and spent the last 15 years of his career working for Frito Lay. Ed loved to travel and was a lifelong fan of the Terlinqua Chili Cookoff. He spent his last few years building model planes for the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas. A rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home followed by visitation from 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Rd. Dallas, TX 75220. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 pm at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
