Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Eduardo (Eddie) Neyra slipped into the peaceful presence of God on April 17, 2014 surrounded by his wife of 48 years Pilar, his daughter Suzette Neyra-Jones and his son Eduardo Neyra II.
Eduardo retired in 2000 as an International Sales Senior Executive with Astralloy Vulcan. During his professional career he had the opportunity to travel the world visiting mines and military installations where he sold the steel used in the mining and the fabrication of tanks, ballistics and blinded armored cars. After retirement he served as an Ambassador for the DFW Airport, where he helped by meeting foreign dignitaries and stranded passengers.
Eduardo was preceded in death by his parents, three older brothers and his daughter Sylvia Pilar Neyra.
Survivors include his wife Pilar, son Eduardo, daughter Suzette, son-in-law Caelum Jones, his three grandchildren Isabella, Victoria and Quinlan, his sister and brother, his sister in law, as well as nieces, a nephew and many relatives from, Ecuador, Spain and Mexico.
The family thanks his primary Doctors Sharmin Khambaty and Gary Weinstein and all others that treated him, as well as their dedicated staff.
A Memorial Mass in Celebration of his life will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, May 5, 2014 at St Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75244.
