Edna Sue Johnson was born on November 26, 1932 and passed away February 21, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Richard Johnson and her mother, Jewell P. Herzog.
Sue graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary and her Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
Sue taught school at Abilene Christian College and at Texas State University. She was the private librarian at the DeGolyer Estate and continued to serve in that position with the family library when it was transferred to SMU as the DeGolyer Library.
In 1981, Sue became the law librarian at the law firm of Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal where she remained until her retirement in 2009. She was a member of the Skillman Church of Christ.
