Eddie Joe Dooley

He was born in Texas on August 9, 1930.

Joe received training in the Air Force that led him to his job as an aviation mechanic at Delta Airlines, where he worked for almost 40 years.

He married Dorris, the love of his life, in November 1948. She predeceased him in February 2011.

He is survived by daughter Bonnie Aument and husband Nick, son Dan Dooley and wife Sherri, daughter Kathy Stallings and husband Bart. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Thurman and Kenneth.

The funeral service will be held on January 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.
