Ebby L Reed

She graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1982. She was a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist and was also certified in other recovery programs. She provided support to individuals who experience trauma, substance abuse, mental health and incarceration. She also educated individuals in gaining hope to move forward in their dreams and goals from her experience with mental health substance abuse, incarceration and homelessness.

Ebby died peacefully. She is preceded in death by her mother Martha R. Reed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, father Eddie Reed (Rose); one daughter and three sons; Tonyetta Yancy of Mansfield, Texas, Dior Cromartie of San Diego, California, Dante Cromartie of Dallas, Texas and Dominick Reed (Marisa) of Allen, Texas; two sisters and four brothers; Mona Hannibal of Dallas, Texas, Penny Reed-Carmon (Kevin) of Mansfield, Texas, Tim Chancellor of Plano, Texas, Gregory Reed of Plano, Texas, Nicholas Reed (Liz) of Mansfield, Texas, Phillip Reed of Plano, Texas; 9 grandchildren, Steve Yancy, Sidney Yancy, Savannah Reed, Samantha Reed, Harvaughn Cromartie, Harlem Cromartie, Harmony Cromartie, Jaidan Cromartie, Jordan Cromartie; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
