Doylene B. Lee

Doylene Blasingame Dodgin Lee… “Doy”, “Mom”, and “NaNa” was born March 10, 1936 in Paris, Texas. She passed away April 1, 2023 in Lewisville, Texas. This small, fiery, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was best known for a beautiful smile which revealed her dimple and flashing blue eyes that charmed all around her. Her active life involved running a motel on Route 66, travel expert, water and snow skier, four-wheel daredevil, and especially professional shopper and avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Her top priority was family and once she had grandchildren, everything she loved to do included them. That was her new “job” and she did it with perfection.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Meda Prater Blasingame, brother Edwin Blasingame, sister Betty Kincy, and son Gary Lee.

She is survived by her large family including husband Bill Lee, sister Sue Grisham with her husband Chuck, daughters Cam Dodgin Brandt and Carri Dodgin Gutknecht with her husband Bill, sons Randall Lee with wife Mary Nell, Kenneth Lee with wife Lainie, and Beth Gilly. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Calli, Clint, Lain, Dania, Lynae, Teala, Shane, Jeff, Carrie Beth, Taylor and Jill, and her many great-grandchildren.
