Yates, Douglas Randall Douglas Randal Yates, of Dallas, Texas died January 13th 2013. He was born in Dallas, Texas October 28th 1950, to Marshall Yates and Marion Claxton. Blue was a very kind man who knew no strangers and was loved by many. He loved music and was known for his amazing moves on the dance floor. One thing everyone will say about Blue is that he loved his Momma dearly and has now gone home to be with her. May he rest in peace and God bless his soul. Preceded in death by his Father James Dean Claxton and Mother Marion Claxton. Siblings, Tommy Yates, Judy Chambers, and Johnny Claxton. Survived by his sisters Susan Benton and Linda Yates, his children Christopher Yates, Jody Sheffield, Michelle Yates, Douglas Yates Jr., And Crystal Sprowls, along with six grand children. The Viewing will be held at 6:00 January 18, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., January 19, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel with internment following at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
