Age, 100, born May 28, 1916 to Robert and Ollie Webb in Corsicana, Texas. She passed away peacefully on Sunday November 27, 2016 in Terrell, Texas. Dorothy was a loving wife to her husband of 68 years, the late William H. Roberts and a devoted and patient mother to their 5 children. She was a lifelong member of Rosemont Christian Church where she was actively involved in the women's church fellowship groups, numerous volunteer programs and charities as well as her favorite book club. She had a gentle soul, a loving and kind heart, and was always giving to everyone around her. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bob Roberts and grandson, Dale Roberts, Jr. Dorothy is survived by her children: Dale Roberts and his wife Lynda. Kenneth Roberts and his wife Mickey, Jerry Roberts, Karen Roberts Alsip and her husband Toby and daughter in law, Kris Roberts; 10 grandchildren; Darren, Todd, Kevin, Bryan, Sam, and Jeff Roberts, Audrie Bowers, Emilie Jackson, Toby Alsip, Jr. and Katie Monaghen; 25 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at 10:00 am and Visitation will be on Tuesday November 29, 2016 from 6 PM- 8 PM both at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Interment at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
