Tuesday May 28th at 10:30 a.m. at Laurel Land in Dallas, TX Graveside service, weather permitting.

Parents:

Rodney Benson Brantley and Era Alsup Brantley, both proceeded her in death.

7 Siblings:

Brothers Clarence Rufus Brantley and wife Esther, Loren Henry Brantley and wife Dorothy Nell, Earl Newton Brantley and wife Verna, Richard Angus Brantley, Walter Lee (Hap) Brantley, and wife Betty,

Eirby Joe Brantley and wife Hazel, Sister Margie Pearl Brantley Edmonds, all proceeded her in death.

Husband:

Joe Miller, proceeded her in death

Sisters-in-Law Mary Ruth Miller (Calvin Miller) Mary Ann Miller (Roy Miller)

3 Children:

Roger Lee Miller & Erlyn Miller, JoAnn Miller English and Jay English and Toni Miller Wimberley & Bill Wimberley, (Toni is recently deceased).

6 Grandchildren:

Steven English and wife Kerri, David English and wife Andrea Tyler Miller and wife Lindsey, Ashley Harrison Christi Ochoa and husband Rob, Brian Wimberley and wife Kristen

7 Great Grandchildren:

Kenneth English and wife Christi Ellysa English, Halle and Hanna Miller, Lily, and Rock Harrison Bailey and Brent Hagler, Autumn Wimberley

1 Great Great Grandchild:

Anthony Jace English and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Epitaph

In Dorothy’s 98 years on this planet her life was often physically hard and always emotionally painful. While difficult for her to show affection she loved fiercely in her own way. Thriving most often during her famous holiday meals, which everyone loved, she took pride in preparing and serving. She was a good friend to long time neighbors surrounding the house in which she lived for 66 years.

She will be missed by friends and family alike.
