We all have wonderful memories of her funny wit, special weekend breakfasts, and family holidays and celebrations. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She was honored by Cochran Chapel Methodist Church, in 1990, as retiring Nursery Director, and daycare. She worked there for 17 years teaching and loving pre-school children. She gave her gift of time and faithfulness on Sunday mornings by providing care to the church family. Her main ministry was evident to all and that is her caring for the children. Gardening was a hobby and a passion. Her flowers and lawn were the envy of the neighborhood. She especially loved her tropical flowers. She loved country music, particularly Josh Turner. She went to her first and only concert to hear Josh Turner, Sept 2010. She was thrilled to meet him backstage and get his autograph and a hug! Mom, Mother, Grandmother, Grandma Dot, whatever you called her, she will be dearly missed. Aloha Mom
