She received her formal education in the Dallas Independent School District. She professed Faith in Christ at an early age and united with Lighthouse COGIC, then to Pleasant Grove Academy COGIC. Her final membership was at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brother (Ewell, Charles and Joe).
She was a loving mother to 8 children, 5 of which who preceded her in death (Ronald, Camelia, Vickie, Karen, and Edward) and leaves to cherish her memories 3 kids Gwen (Gerald), Debra, Richard Jr. (Cloris); 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The angel of silence entered into her room on March 23, 2024 to receive her into eternity. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
