Doris Jane Badgley Scroggins Little

Doris Jane Badgley Scroggins Little, age 78, passed away on August 29, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on November 17, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Lola Gertrude Preuss. Doris was raised in Dallas and graduated from Crozier Technical High School in 1961, and was the proud editor of the Crozier Tech newspaper. She married Jerry Lloyd Scroggins in 1961, and together the couple had two children. Doris enjoyed a successful career as a secretary for the Texas Department of Transportation where she was a dedicated employee for many years.

In her spare time, Doris enjoyed participating in church activities, travel, spending quality time with family, talking with dear friends, and laughing with her sweet granddaughter.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a great encourager and supporter of her friends and family, and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Doris had a compassionate heart and strong moral compass, and was an early advocate of civil rights.

Doris is preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Lynn Scroggins; first husband, Jerry Lloyd Scroggins; second husband, Charles Little; brother, Dock C. Green; and her mother, Lola Gertrude Preuss. She is survived by multiple loving family members, dear friends, and her Eastminster Presbyterian Church Congregation family.
