Doris Scholl Horton

Born December 27, 1922 in Dallas and spent her entire life there before joining her Lord on April 4, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Horton; daughter, Linda Pullen Maples; son-in-law, Patrick Maples and many nieces and nephews. She lived a life dedicated to her Lord and Savior and to the First Baptist Church of Dallas. She worked 22 years for American Airlines before retiring in 1980. Doris enjoyed traveling, fellowship with people at work and she loved family and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the funeral home. Funeral service 2PM Friday, April 8, 2011 at Sparkman/Crane Chapel with interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park. She will be missed by the many lives that she touched.
