Doris M Barron

Doris Margaret Barron, 88, of Garland, TX passed away 8/24/2012 from complications caused from cancer. She was born 4/18/1924 in Sweetwater, TX. Doris graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. Her carreer began as a secretary at Wyeth Laboratories and ended as office supervisor at Duo-Fast of Texas where she worked for 28 years. She was dedicated to her family gving full support to all who needed her, also her beloved Cowboys. Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Eddie Barron; her mother and father, Elna and Ted Vaught; sister, Thelma Thornton; nephew, Kenneth Thornton; great-granddaughter, Janelle Wilson. Survived by son, Robert E. Wilson, Jr. and wife, Ruth R. Wilson of Seven Points, TX; daugher, Vicki L. Selke and husband, Jerry Selke; grandchildren, Angie Mullins of Guthrie, OK, Richard D. Wilson of Key Largo, FL; Kirk W. Wilson of Lewisville, TX, Kristen Murray of Plano, TX; Rob Drachler of Charleston, SC; 2 nieces, Margaret Byrne and Barbara Holz and nephew, David Hitt. We will all miss her and all the great holidays spent with Grandma Doris. She leaves 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, 8/26 /2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday, 8/27/2012 in the Grove Hill Chapel.
