Dora Torres of Dallas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at the age of 69 on June 23, 2024. She was born on February 6, 1955, in San Fernando Tamaulipas to Miguel Torres (d.1986) and Emilia Hernandez Torres. She is survived by Her husband Teodoro Torres and 2 children whom she loved dearly.
Dora was a devoted grandmother who adored her grandchildren and always made sure they felt loved and cherished. Dora is survived by her beloved mother, Emilia Hernandez Torres and her loving children Luis D. Torres, Mayra Elizondo (Son in Law Jesse), brother Ricardo Torres, sister Irma Ibarra and Elva Orocio. Grandchildren Jacob Torres, Christian Elizondo, Nic Torres, Alexzandria Elizondo and her many nieces and nephews. Dora is preceded in death by her parents Miguel Torres (d.1986) and Emilia Hernandez Torres.
Dora was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering faith in God. She was a pillar of strength for her family and friends, always offering support and guidance in times of need. Dora lived each day to the fullest, finding joy in simple moments and creating lasting memories with those she held dear.
As a mother, Dora was unparalleled in her love and dedication. She worked tirelessly to provide for her children, putting their needs above her own and instilling in them values of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering love. Her selflessness and sacrifice will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew her.
