Donna Fisher Knights

Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jerald Clyde Fisher, her husband of 10 years Mort Knights, her close friend and companion of 10 years Ken Ransom, her father Guy Presnell, mother Opal Presnell, her older sister Hildred McCellan & younger sister Yvonne Morrow.

She is survived by her sons, Jerald Craig Fisher & wife Beth, Michael Alan Fisher & wife Maria, Randall Clyde Fisher & wife Pam, & daughter Cheryl Jeanne Willis & husband Don, 18 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren.

Donna will be remembered for many things least of which is being a great wife and mother. One of her loves in life, besides her family, was to dance. Just get the music started and she was ready to go. For years she was a member of the Elks Lodge. She was an excellent seamstress and made clothes, & household textiles for her family. Her grandchildren remember her Christmas Tree being decorated each year with a handmade ornament for each grandchild with a dollar stuffed into it. She loved to line her fireplace mantle with stockings for her many grandchildren stuffed with goodies and treats. Many grandchildren still have their stocking that their “Gaggie “, as she was affectionately known, made them.

A visitation for Donna will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A Celebration of Life will occur Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
