Mr. Donald Glenn Jennings

Donald "Don" Glen Jennings. Born September 30, 1947 in Dallas, TX. He was a resident of Hillsboro, TX. After a courageous battle with cancer, Don passed away peacefully on January 4, 2015 with family and friends at his side. He was one of two children born to the late William and Elois Jennings and was the beloved husband of Sylvia Louise Jennings for over 45 years. Don will forever be remembered by his devoted brother Robert Jennings of Trinidad, TX, beloved children Donald Glen Jennings II and his wife Julie of Bartlesville, OK and Doug Jennings of Hillsboro, TX, treasured grandchildren Trey and Ethan Jennings of Bartlesville, OK, Cameron Jennings of Arlington, TX and Carson Jennings of Canton, GA, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Don was a Vietnam Veteran who served bravely in the 1st Battalion 9th Marines, also known as "The Walking Dead'. Don was a popular mail carrier for the United Stated Postal Service in Duncanville and Hillsboro, TX for over 30 years. Don loved playing golf, cracking jokes, fishing, watching football, being with his family, and drinking his favorite, Dr. Pepper. Don touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
