Rev. Donald Gene Cunerkin , Born Sept. 1, 1949, To the parents of the late Sarah Erby and Fred Cunkerin. Donald received his education in DISD and graduated from James Madison High School. He was known as "Doll Head" to many. He accepted Christ at an early age at True Lee Baptist Church, shortly after he joined the Community First under Pastor C. H. Gerald. Later in life he became a member of Mesquite Friendship B.C under Dr. Terry M. Turner, where he remained until his death.
He was a Bus Driver for Richardson Independent School District where he later retired. He also worked at the Adessa Car Auction. He could never stop driving so he decided to serve families by driving limousines for funerals homes.
He leaves 2 sisters: Dora Grant and Freddie Cox both from Dallas, Tx. Daughters, Tessa Washington and Kalinda Washington both from Dallas, Son, Kendrick Dial from San Diego, CA. Grandsons Terence Washington (Brotha) and Michael Waston (Too Short) both from Dallas, Tx and Granddaughter Jayden Dial from San Diego, CA. Lifelong friend and sweetheart; Edith Washington, Nephew; Todd Baylock and Niece Tan Baylock and a host of other family and friends.
