Domingo was born in Bastrop, Texas, to Fernando and Dorotea Guerra on February 22, 1921. He worked in his own furniture and appliance delivery service, before moving on to work for and retiring from the U.S. Postal Service in 1986.
Domingo was a WWII veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on board the USS Mississippi. Domingo was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.
Domingo met Aurora Arredondo in Amarillo, Texas. They married in November 1942 and eventually had three children.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Fernando and Dorotea, his brothers, Carlos, Francisco, Mauro, and Julio, and one sister, Tomasa. Domingo is survived by Aurora Guerra his loving wife of 70 years. He is also survived by his brother, Ramiro, his sister Beatriz, and his children, Dora and her husband Jerry Milam, Domingo Guerra Jr., and Yolanda and her husband Lee Moses, and his grandchildren, Monica and Lance Milam.
