Domingo Chavez

Domingo "Showtime" Chavez, 71, joined the Lord on May 13, 2013 in Dallas, TX. Domingo was a great husband, father and grandfather, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to socialize and entertain guests. Other interests of his are gambling and lending a helping hand to those in need. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Maria and children, Domingo Chavez Jr, Mary Arriaga, Darlene Chavez DeLeon, Hector Chavez, Danny Chavez, Salvador Chavez and Cristal Chavez; brothers and sisters, Inez Chavez, Juan Chavez, George Chavez, Julia Mendoza, Pauline Pizana, Frances Sepulve, Jose Chavez and Paul Chavez; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Chavez; brother, Joe Chavez; sisters, Alice Chavez and Dora Castro. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Ffuneral Mass will be celebrated in his honor on Friday, May 17, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church at 1:00 pm.
