Dolores G Brown

Dolores G Brown, age 89, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2018. Dolores was born June 16, 1928 in Maydelle, Texas, to parents Wilbert and Lessie Morris. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High in Dallas, TX. Dolores worked as an Executive Secretary throughout her life. She enjoyed making memories with her family, as well as gardening, fishing, water skiing, and bowling. She was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. Dolores was a devoted member of the Lake Highlands Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Billy J. Brown, and sisters Joy Nell Wyatt and LaVerne Johnson. Dolores is survived by her daughters, Sherron Plummer (Dan), and Debbie Sanders (Greg); grandchildren Tracey Buck (Mike), Jarod Plummer (Holly), Kyle Sanders (Laura), April Rodas (Rob), Jeff Sanders (Jennifer), 7 great grandchildren, sister Gloria Payne, and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Visitation will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Lake Highlands Baptist Church, 642 Brookhurst Dr. Dallas, TX 75218. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
