Born October 21, 1926, passed away with her daughters by her side on March 17, 2017. Dollie had 90 incredible years with her family. She has gone to be with the Lord and is having an incredible homecoming. Dollie loved spending time with her grandchildren and played important roles in all of their lives. She loved watching “Murder She Wrote” and was well known for her chicken and dumplings recipe. She preceded in death by her husband, James W. Smoot; her son, Ronnie Smoot; her parents, Enna May Naler and Harry Cooper; her siblings, Harry J. Cooper, Dorothy Wright, Charles Cooper, Betty Jean DuBois and Joanne Moore; her granddaughter, Jennifer Lochridge and great-grandson, Cooper David Lochridge. She is survived by her daughters, Sue Lee, Cathy Lochridge and Debra deVilder; her grandchildren, Wendy Smoot, Jamie Araiza, Cassie Hampe, Lacey Lee, Beau Lochridge, C.J. deVilder, Myles deVilder, Sera deVilder, Cat deVilder; her great grandchildren, Preston Smoot, Annabelle Lochridge, Alex Hampe, C.C. Hampe, Cooper Lochridge and Charlie deVilder. She is loved and will be missed by all.
