Dixie Thomasine Jackson was born on January 31, 1945, in Longview, Texas, to Irine White. She entered heaven’s gates on June 29, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Jackson, Sr.; and her sister, Dorothy Jean Davis. Those remaining to cherish her loving memories include Mr. John Powell; her three children, Lynnetta Ray (Tony), Roy Lee Jackson, Jr. (Migdalia) and Kimberly Martin (Russell); eight grandchildren, Jonathan Jackson (Krystal), Tia Jackson, Anthony Ray, Demarius Martin, De’ja Jones, Adam Scott, Daniella Grey and Adella Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Montez, Laylay and Aniya; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
