Diane Wisdom Senibaldi passed away at home in February of 2020, while surrounded by her daughters, with her dog Sweetpea at her side. Diane was born in 1938 to her parents Bill and Juanita. After the tragic passing of her Daddy when Diane was 6, she was blessed with the man she would call Dad who married her precious mama in 1947. Her dad, Ronald, or “Phillip”, owned the Highland Park Pharmacy for several decades, and Diane loved to tell stories of her childhood at the soda fountain. Juanita and Phillip have since passed, and Diane is survived by her daughters, Gena and Lauren, her son-in-law Brian, her stepdaughter, Lolly, her granddaughter, Quinn, her sister Mary, her nephew Kelly, and many other beloved family members. Diane led a remarkable life as a professional singer, during which she traveled the world, dated Elvis Presley, dined with Sammy Davis Jr. and sang with Bob Hope. Before her passing, Diane was thrilled to learn she would have the honor of being included in the Archives of Women of the Southwest at the DeGolyer Library at SMU. We are currently working with them to ensure her legacy is preserved. If you would like to honor Diane, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Hospital.
