Diane McKeown, 82, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. Born on January 11, 1942, in Staten Island, New York, she lived a life filled with love, dedication, and passion.
Diane graduated from the College of Staten Island and earned her master’s degree in education. She devoted her career to teaching within the New York City Board of Education, where she inspired countless students throughout her years of service.
On March 3, 1965, Diane married William McKeown, and together they built a loving family. She is survived by her children, Jill Clayton and Bill McKeown, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Nick, Ashley, Ethan, Emmett, and Katie.
Diane had a deep passion for dancing, which brought joy to her life and those around her. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
